Soiku Bano was originally founded in 2016 by Jose and his wife, Claudia, after their ticket had been selected in a drawing for a marijuana business license in unincorporated Adams County. In 2019 the team was joined by Jose’s youngest brother Xander, and the tagline “Two Brothers and some Bubble Bags” was born. In June of 2020 the final county and state approvals were realized and Soiku Bano was ready for business. This Cuban-American family was finally able to introduce their brand to the Colorado solventless cannabis scene. The name “Soiku Bano” is a phonetic twist of the phrase “Soy Cubano”, meaning “I am Cuban” as an homage to their family roots.
